Begin by finding an obstacle that's the right height for
you.

Facing the obstacle, ride parallel to it as fast as you
feel comfortable–like you would if you were going to do
a frontside 50-50. (Remember: the faster you go, the better
it looks–but you also fall harder.)

Ollie like you're going to do a backside 180, but only
turn the lower half of your body 90 degrees. (This is
important: keep your shoulders parallel to the ledge.)
When you're over the ledge, push your board down into
the railslide position.
4.
While sliding, try to keep your weight centered. (It helps
to look at the griptape between your feet.)
5. When you reach the end of the ledge, unweight
yourself, turning the lower half of your body back to
its original position, and ride away.
