The skaters find atractive to skate on smooth surfaces (asphalt, marble etc...), stairs, ledges, rails and anything that can fulfill their skateboard-trick imagination. Skopje has many interesting spots to skate on and history shows that the skaters in different periods had a different main skatespot and a couple of other not so often skated spots. But as the number of skaters grew up, more spots were needed. And then the skatepark opened... So nowadays we can say that the skatepark is the main skatespot, which does not mean that the skaters have forgotten the spots where they used to skate before. In this section you will find short descriptions of the skatespots in Macedonia.
